Jonas Zeitler (b. 1998) in Germany, lives and works in south Germany.

Through painting, collage and object-based installation, I explore the emotional dimensions of food, table culture and the playful absurdities of everyday life. My work reflects moments of togetherness, longing and intimacy. I visualize small fragments of shared experiences. Using acrylic, oil and paper collage, I build layered compositions that extend beyond the flat surface, incorporating found materials, ceramics and wood to create tactile worlds. Humor and proportion play a central role, turning the ordinary into something curious and surreal. For me, painting is both escapism and connection. A space where warmth, joy and imagination meet.

Between Objects No. 5 begins in the small rituals of daily life - the flower on the table, the tin of sardines, the flicker of a match. These fragments, distilled into bold shapes and luminous color, become traces of memory and emotion. Through collage-like arrangements and the language of reduction, Jonas Zeitler transforms the ordinary into something contemplative - a meditation on presence and impermanence. His images do not seek to describe the world, but to hold it still for a moment, to preserve the fleeting poetry of the everyday.
